The primary emphasis is on the description, legal concerns, valuation methods, and techniques needed to value ADUs. The following is an overview of the seminar content. Part 1 provides a review of the definitions and various names used around the country to describe ADUs.It dives into why this living unit is playing an important part in meeting the shortage of housing and sets the stage for identifying the markets where ADUs might be very popular and the most likely buyer of an ADU.
