Tennessee Broker License Requirements

Broker License Applicants

ALL applicants for the Broker License must have:

• Certification of 120 hours of education, including the 30-hour “Office & Brokerage Management” or Prebroker course
• Licensed 3 years or 36 months as an Affiliate Broker
• 120 additional hours of approved Post Education must be completed within 3 years of the date of issuance of the broker license plus 16 hours of Continuing Education thereafter (6 hours of the 16 hours CE requirement must be the Commission approved 6-hour Core course.) This 16-hour CE requirement must be completed every 2 years in order to renew a broker license.

TREES offers the 30-Hour “Office & Brokerage Management” or Prebroker course by classroom and home study/correspondence courses. This course is not approved for CE, only approved for Prebroker broker license educational requirements.

TREES not only offers the 6-hour Core course by online and home study formats but offers a variety of other online and home study CE and Post Education courses.
